Our Services
- We are a 49 space day nursery open as of March 2025!!!
- We are registered to provide care for children aged 6 weeks, to 12 years of age.
- Services include full time, part time day care, midday sessions and flexibility for both adhoc and shift work bookings.
- We also operate a breakfast and after school club within the setting.
- We offer wrap around services from all local schools. Please get in touch to enquire prices for these wraparound services.
- We offer midday sessions of 9am-3pm at a discounted daily rate.
- Accept tax free childcare, most voucher comapnies and funding through Childcare for Wales
- Open 52 weeks a year (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
- Opening hours 7am-6pm. A standard nursery day operates from 7:30am-6:00pm.
Fees
Our fees are reviewed annually every March. Please see below fees from 1st March 2026. These fees are inclusive of nappies, wipes, ointments, food and cows milk.

Meet the Manager
Hi everyone! I am the Nursery Manager at Selca Day Nursery – Treforest and bring with me a strong background in early years education and leadership.
I am a Level 5 qualified practitioner with around 10 years of experience in childcare. I began my career as a Nursery Assistant and progressed through various roles to management, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of nursery life and the needs of both children and staff.
I am passionate about providing high-quality care and learning experiences in a warm, nurturing environment. I am committed to supporting children’s development at every stage and value positive relationships with families as a key part of this journey.
Building on the strong foundations already in place at the nursery, I continue to lead the team with care, consistency, and a focus on creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Parents and carers are always welcome to say hello at drop-off or collection, I am always happy to chat and answer any questions.
